Bike Club Do A Windermere Adventure!

Overview

Time to go bike packing. Starting at Windermere we are going to take the ferry across to meet with a bridleway and cycle up the side of Windermere and Rydal water to Grasmere.  We will be camping at Grasmere YHA.  We will then return the next day.

The route is relatively flat with small climbs and we will be cycling approx 12 miles each day.  We will be carrying all equipment.  Tents will be provided and each rider will be given a bar bag to fill with personal belongings for the trip. that is carried on their bike

We will be eating evening meal and breakfast at the YHA you will need a pack lunch.

This trip is suitable for the Saturday evening group and older Sunday morning group,  As much as we appreciate parents accompanying us its a massive help we cannot on this occasion help with camping on the site for anybody wishing to join in.  The site is fully booked .  There is accommodation available inside the YHA or on other campsites in the locality.
